Ever feel like God is sitting on the sidelines just waiting for you to put him in the game … like you're some kind of life coach that holds the eternal play book.  Ever feel like you have so much busyness bouncing off the inside walls of your cranium that the interference … the static, serves as noise cancelling ear plugs to God's message in your life.  What do you do when all of a sudden you find yourself here?  When all of a sudden you can't find God in your head??  Well … here's a start.  Get in his word!

The scripture says that God's word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.  It also promises that God's word will not return void … in other words the message of scripture comes chock full of a Truth that (1) unpacks fulfillment in Christ and (2) smells of the pure, untarnished love of Christ.  His word will never boomerang back to you without good news … it will never return void … it will always provide hope!

When we find ourselves asking where God is, I think that this can be a very presumptious place for us.  The cool thing about God is that he is without fail where he needs to be, and at his core he is unchanging. If we can't locate God on Google Earth or on our Navigation system, then that's on us. He has maintained and will always maintain his position in this world … and considering that we're followers of him, that position is at our hearts' helm.  If we are called by him, then we can know that with him as skipper and controlling the sails, that our hearts will ooze with the hope of Christ.  The Father is here and calling you to be a part of all the good things he desires for you.  Let him put you in the game … and play the game of your life … with the coach of your life!!
