It's a question that many of us ask probably several times a day … and it begins like this. We have the day nicely laid out before us … that lasts until the alarm goes abuzz and the day begins! We begin to assume and assimilate … we assume all the roles that come along with what defines us and we assimilate all the chatter that surrounds us and enslaves us! We soon find out that it's thechatter that begins to define who and what we are. We begin to allow our surroundings to tell us what to do and where to go. We are a very influencial people … even the most "independent" of us all are ruled by outside influences in our lives. We all flashback to things our Mom or Dad said to us as kids … or what our high school coach exclaimed after the big game … how a trusted mentor in our life wound up not worthy of trusting. All this self-assimilation can lead to a life of chaos … and can lead to the question … what is it I do again??
Check out this video spot by Louis Giglio which touches on life prioritization from a Christian perspective. Let Christ be the voice that provides the meat of assimilation in your life … let Christian be the role that you assume first and formost.
